SUNNYHILL INC. TAKES THEIR ANNUAL FALL FUN-RAISER "CRUSH" TO NEW HEIGHTS BY PARTNERING WITH THE HISTORIC & LEGENDARY PEABODY OPERA HOUSE
"CRUSH" to be the New 2011 Peabody Opera House Most Memorable Event!
SAINT LOUIS, MO, October 2011 - In order to make something memorable, you must first find what will make a lasting impression, and that's exactly what The Sunnyhill Inc. non-for-profit organization set out to do when they went searching for their new venue, The Peabody Opera House (1400 Market Street, St. Louis, Missouri, 63103). On November 5, 2011 The Peabody will officially serve as the location for the creative, yet classic, CRUSH charity event that focuses on the fusion of fashion and fine wines all in one.
The magic of these two entities, Sunnyhill & Peabody Opera House, lies within the numbers and years of giving back to people through support, comfort, aid and services as well as sheer performance and art. Sunnyhill Inc. was established in 1979, one year after Tom Petty performed at The Opera House. Back in the 60's and 70's it was names like: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and comedian Johnny Carson who took to the stage and, in one instance, performed their only televised concert together during the heyday of the Rat Pack. In fact, this closed-circuit broadcast was done as a fundraiser!
This fashion forward event elegantly blends the aesthetics of fashion with the complexities of wine and embarks on its 10th year with a twist of history that will put you right into the lap of luxury where the tastemakers in town will want to be.Tickets for the VIP experience start at $85 and attendees will receive all of the above with their ticket, PLUS: an " Experience with the Experts" where a wine and beer expert will be on site to discuss the importance of both categories along with sample food pairings. In addition, VIP's will receive a seat within the first few rows of the fashion show and their $250 VIP bag that will have goodies and products to try and sample from companies all over the world! VIP ticket holders will also get first bids on all the silent auction items and have the ability to buy outright.
General admission tickets will be $50.00 (for a limited time). This ticket includes: drinks and food samplings as well but in a more limited fashion with no experiential hour with the Chef or pairing showcase. Both tickets do however allow you to explore the new designs of The Peabody Opera House, listen to tunes played by The Instructors (featuring Town & Style, Style Editor and acoustic guitar player and singer for the group, Suzy Bacino) and view some of the latest fashion trends to hit the stores.
Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended. For additional information or to purchase tickets to CRUSH, please visit the Sunnyhill Inc. website sunnyhillinc.org or call 314-845-3900. Take a step back in time and expand your love of wine in a welcoming, luxurious and historical environment. We hope you'll enjoy the journey with us. The next sip is yours.
*Must be 21 years of age or older to enjoy the complimentary beer and cocktails that are provided with your ticket. This is the perfect Haut-Couture fashion event to prelude the upcoming winter season!
